The Grays Harbor (2-13) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 8-3 to the Columbia Basin (11-13) on Sunday.

Gave the Columbia Basin the lead in the fifth inning.

Gabby Meza racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Columbia Basin. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

The Grays Harbor had no answer for Janelle Randles, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Randles held the Grays Harbor hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

The Grays Harbor were led by Chelsy Stewart's hitting. Stewart went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the second inning.

Jenny Benn (2-3) took the loss for the Grays Harbor. He allowed eight runs in six innings, walked three and struck out three.
