Ashley Chamberlin was cold coming off the bench, but Chamberlin warmed up quickly as Chamberlin stroked a key pinch-hit single in the three to lead the Olympic (9-13) to a 10-4 win over the Blue Mountain (3-20) on Saturday at Skagit Valley.
With the Olympic leading by one in the third inning, Chamberlin came to the plate and singled.
The Olympic blew out the Blue Mountain thanks to 12 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Olympic scored five runs in the sixth on a two-run double by Hailey Hull, an RBI single by Mariah Frazier, and a two-run double by Ashley Lockhart.
Frazier racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Olympic.
Erika Henderson got the win, running his season record to 5-4. He allowed three runs over 4 2/3 innings. Henderson struck out three, walked five and gave up five hits.
Maggie Rust couldn't get it done on the mound for the Blue Mountain, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out one.
