A walk-off solo home run from Matt Buroni brought home the winning run for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (22-26) in a 7-6 victory over the Worcester Bravehearts in 12 innings at Doyle Field on Thursday.
Kurtis White rocked the Worcester Bravehearts (27-21) with two home runs. White went 3-6 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. White homered in the third, fourth, and fourth innings.
Jason Harper improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. Harper struck out six, walked none and gave up no hits.
Anthony Perry was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
