The Worcester Bravehearts make the most of 7 hits in 5-3 victory over the Pittsfield Suns

Both the Worcester Bravehearts (19-9) and the Pittsfield Suns (16-12) put runners aboard on Wednesday, but it was the Worcester Bravehearts that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 5-3 win at Fitton Field.

Josh Desai brought the heat against the Pittsfield Suns during his outing. The Pittsfield Suns managed just one hit off of Desai, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his three innings of work.

The Pittsfield Suns were led by Zack Tower's hitting. Tower went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

Blake Drew ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
