A walk-off double from Darian Ramage brought home the winning run for the Worcester Bravehearts (4-0) in a 5-4 victory over the Nashua Silver Knights (2-1) at Fitton Field on Saturday.
Ramage led the Worcester Bravehearts' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the ninth inning.
Logan Fullmer had an impressive outing against the Nashua Silver Knights' lineup. The Nashua Silver Knights managed just four hits off of Fullmer, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out two during his five innings of work.
Aaron Doughty improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Worcester Bravehearts. He allowed one run over two innings. Doughty struck out one, walked none and gave up two hits.
Shawn Heide couldn't get it done on the mound for the Nashua Silver Knights, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
