A seven-run explosion in the third inning carried the Bellevue (13-8) to a 10-1 win in five innings over the Edmonds (3-8) at Bellevue College- Softball Fiel on Saturday.
Nicole Tiffany had two extra-base hits for the Bellevue. He homered in the third inning and doubled in the fourth inning.
Brielle Bray got the win for the Bellevue thanks to seven strikeouts. Bray allowed one earned run on three hits and one walk over four innings.
Sierra Card (0-3) took the loss for the Edmonds. He allowed nine runs in three innings, walked four and struck out none.
Tiffany, Taylor Pottschmidt, Bray and Hannah Sauget helped lead the Bellevue. They combined for seven hits and seven RBIs.
