The Trinidad Triggers (35-25) beat the Santa Fe Fuego (45-22) 8-7 but needed 10 innings to do so on Sunday at Fort Marcy Park.

With the score tied at seven in the tenth inning, Shane Casey came to the plate and singled, plating Adam Barry.

K.C. Judge blasted two home runs for the Trinidad Triggers. Judge went 2-6 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored. Judge homered in the third inning.

Nick Rodesky brought the heat against the Santa Fe Fuego during his outing. The Santa Fe Fuego managed just one hit off of the the Trinidad Triggers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Omar Artsen got on base three times in the game for the Santa Fe Fuego. He singled in the eighth inning.

Chevas Numata (0-1) took the loss for the Santa Fe Fuego. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.
