Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the Alpine Cowboys (38-17) outscored the Trinidad Triggers (27-20) 12-11.

The teams totaled 21 hits in the game.

John Hotta racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Alpine Cowboys. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Ryan Richardson got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Zach Leitten ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
