A walk-off single from Eric Kozel brought home the winning run for the Santa Fe Fuego (27-18) in a 7-6 victory over the Raton Osos at Fort Marcy Park on Monday.

Kozel reached base three times. He scored one run and had two RBIs. He singled in the ninth inning.

Nick Billinger had two extra-base hits for the Santa Fe Fuego. He doubled in the first inning, singled in the fifth inning, and homered in the seventh inning.

Mitch Warne went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Raton Osos (17-26). He homered in the third inning and singled in the first and fifth innings.

Charlie McCready improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Santa Fe Fuego. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Richard Suniga (2-2) took the loss for the Raton Osos. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.

Craig Massey, Billinger, Kozel and Charles Johnson helped lead the Santa Fe Fuego. They combined for eight hits and seven RBIs.
