Destinee Chang went 2-3 and hit a home run, sparking the Chemeketa (14-10) to a 7-4 victory in seven innings over the Walla Walla (10-12) on Saturday at Skagit Valley.

It was a good day at the plate for the Walla Walla's Cheyenne Kessler. Kessler went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning.

Breauna Parr improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Chemeketa. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Hanna DeBaugh ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked one and struck out five.
