Carlos Matamoros went 2-3 as the Florida Barons (2-5) took home a 5-0 victory over the Florida Pokers (2-3) in seven innings at Taravella HS on Saturday.

Alex Diaz brought the heat against the Florida Pokers during his outing. The Florida Pokers managed just one hit off of the the Florida Barons' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Miguel Castellanos couldn't get it done on the hill for the Florida Pokers, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
