Alex Diaz was cold coming off the bench, but Diaz warmed up quickly as Diaz stroked a key pinch-hit single in the eight to lead the Florida Barons (4-10) to a 5-4 win over the South Florida Breakers (10-7) on Thursday at Broward College.
With the score tied at four, Diaz came to the plate and singled.
