The South Florida Breakers (10-6) beat the Palm Beach Xtreme 8-2 in six innings on Saturday at Broward College after a six-run explosion in the first inning.

The South Florida Breakers scored in the first on an RBI double by Corbin Weeks, a wild pitch, an RBI single by Cole Habig, and a sacrifice fly by Blake Smith.

It was a good day at the plate for the South Florida Breakers' Bryan Dionicio. Dionicio went 2-2, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Tyler Draughon improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the South Florida Breakers. He allowed two runs over five innings. Draughon struck out five, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Jose Parra ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked three and struck out three.
