Forrest Garcia went 2-4 as the Lane (10-7) took home a 6-5 victory over the Mt. Hood (5-11) at Mt. Hood on Wednesday.

Shane Quarterley brought the heat against the Mt. Hood during his outing. The Mt. Hood managed just one hit off of Quarterley, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Mt. Hood's Joe Piercey dominated the Lane's batters, giving up three runs and striking out six.

Nick Gawley racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Mt. Hood. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Michael McCall couldn't get it done on the mound for the Mt. Hood, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
