Sunday was a great day for Jeff Hardy, as Hardy pitched eight innings to carry the Lane (9-6) to a 2-1 victory over the Mt. Hood (4-10) at Titan Field in 10 innings.
A walk-off single by Erik Long gave the Lane the win.
Long had a hot bat for the Lane. Long went 1-4. He singled in the tenth inning.
Travis Boggs got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.
Dakota Albrecht ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
