The Highline (4-3) beat the Olympic (4-9) 7-6 in seven innings on Wednesday behind Kayla Andrus, who knocked in three runs.
He homered in the first inning and singled in the third inning.Jordyn Nickolson reached base three times. He also drove in one runner. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth inning.
Andrus got his first win for the Highline despite allowing five runs over six innings. He struck out seven, walked none and surrendered eight hits.
Ashley Chamberlin (1-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
