Steven Pollex had two extra base hits, sparking the Chugiak Chinooks (11-22) to a 6-1 victory in seven innings over the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (17-19) on Saturday at Mulcahy Field.

Shane Armstrong had an impressive outing against the Anchorage Glacier Pilots' lineup. Armstrong held the Anchorage Glacier Pilots hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.

Zachary Freeman got the win, running his season record to 3-4. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out none, walked two and surrendered no hits.

Kyle Nelson couldn't get it done on the mound for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
