The Matsu Miners (20-10) scored four runs in the eighth to cap a 13-6 win over the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (17-17) on Tuesday.

Cameron Newell racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Matsu Miners. He singled in the third inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Michael Perri racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. He homered in the eighth inning.

Seve Romo improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Matsu Miners. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Romo struck out four, walked two and gave up eight hits.

Henri Faucheux ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
