The Anchorage Glacier Pilots (16-9) and the Anchorage Bucs (17-10) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Anchorage Glacier Pilots that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 5-4 win at Mulcahy Field.

Trevor Podratz racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. He singled in the seventh and eighth innings.

Mark Krueger racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Anchorage Bucs. He tripled in the second inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Kyle Nelson got the win, running his season record to 2-0. Nelson struck out three, walked one and gave up one hit.

Evan Manarino (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
