Nolan Sheridan brought the heat against the Matsu Miners during his outing. Sheridan held the Matsu Miners hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Tyler Painton got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered seven hits.
Kyle Serrano (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
