He doubled in the first inning and singled in the eighth inning.Tyler Stubblefield's 11 strikeouts were enough to push the Matsu Miners past the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. The Matsu Miners' pitcher tossed five innings of shutout ball and allowed only two hits.
A bright spot for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots in the defeat was Tyler Fox, who allowed only one run while striking out six.
Fox ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year.
