A walk-off sacrifice fly from Collin Theroux brought home the winning run for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (7-4) in an 8-7 victory over the Chugiak Chinooks (3-8) at Mulcahy Field on Friday.
Theroux led the Anchorage Glacier Pilots' offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He also drove in one runner. He doubled in the third inning.
Nikko Saenz racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. He homered in the seventh inning and singled in the ninth inning.
The Chugiak Chinooks couldn't get anything going so long as Chandler Blanchard was on the hill. The Chugiak Chinooks managed just one hit off of Blanchard, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his three innings of work.
