Both the Matsu Miners (6-3) and the San Francisco Seals put runners aboard on Wednesday, but it was the Matsu Miners that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 6-5 win at Hermon Brothers Field.

Dayne Wunderlich had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the third and seventh innings and singled in the eighth inning.

Nick Egli had three extra-base hits for the San Francisco Seals. He doubled in the first, fourth, and seventh innings.

Josh Grissom improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Matsu Miners. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered two hits.

The Matsu Miners were sparked by Wunderlich and Cameron Newell, who teamed up for five hits and three RBIs.

Jacob Pavlosky was charged with the loss. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
