Chester Pak knocked in four runs, helping the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (6-3) to an 11-6 victory over the Chugiak Chinooks (3-7) on Wednesday at Loretta French Field.
He tripled in the fifth inning and singled in the sixth, eighth, and ninth innings.Taylor Kaczmarek pitched lights out for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. Kaczmarek held the Chugiak Chinooks hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two.
The Chugiak Chinooks were led by James Nevant's hitting. Nevant went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the fifth and ninth innings.
Cameron Pongs recorded his third win of the year for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. Pongs struck out one, walked none and gave up two hits.
Zachary Freeman was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
