Both the Anchorage Bucs (19-10) and the Matsu Miners (16-9) put runners aboard on Sunday, but it was the Anchorage Bucs that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 5-4 win at Mulcahy Field.

Garrett Copeland racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Anchorage Bucs. He singled in the first inning.

Peter Lenstrohm had an impressive outing against the Matsu Miners' lineup. Lenstrohm held the Matsu Miners hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Jonny Locher boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 4-4 day at the plate to pace the Matsu Miners. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings and homered in the ninth inning.

Sean-Luke Brija recorded his second win of the year for the Anchorage Bucs. He allowed three runs over one inning. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered five hits.

Spencer Jack (0-1) took the loss for the Matsu Miners. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
