The Chugiak Chinooks (2-3) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 6-1 to the Anchorage Bucs (4-2) on Friday.

While the Chugiak Chinooks led until the fourth inning, the Anchorage Bucs worked their way back and took the lead on a three-run home run by Mark Krueger.

Krueger racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Anchorage Bucs. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Bret Marks recorded his first win of the year for the Anchorage Bucs. Marks struck out three, walked one and gave up three hits.

Michael Fairchild couldn't get it done on the bump for the Chugiak Chinooks, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
