Mark Laird racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Bourne Braves. He tripled in the third inning, singled in the seventh inning, and homered in the eighth inning.
Andrew Sopko's three strikeouts were enough to push the Bourne Braves past the Cotuit Kettleers (16-22). The Bourne Braves' pitcher gave up just five hits over five shutout innings.
The Cotuit Kettleers were led by a flawless day at the dish by Logan Taylor, who went 3-3 against the Bourne Braves' pitching. He singled in the second, fifth, and ninth innings.
