Bolt's walk-off single send the Harwich Mariners home winners, 9-8

A walk-off single from Skye Bolt brought home the winning run for the Harwich Mariners (22-14) in a 9-8 victory over the Chatham Anglers in 10 innings at Whitehouse Field on Saturday.

The Harwich Mariners were led by Bolt's hitting. Bolt went 3-6, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fifth, ninth, and tenth innings.

C.J. Hinojosa blasted two home runs for the Harwich Mariners. Hinojosa went 2-5 in the game with three RBIs and three runs scored. Hinojosa homered in the first and fifth innings.

The two teams combined for 17 runs and 15 hits, including zero extra base hits. There were 12 pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.

Kenny Towns improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Harwich Mariners. Towns struck out one, walked one and gave up no hits.

Zac Gallen (0-4) took the loss for the Chatham Anglers (16-21). He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
