The Harwich Mariners get on top of the Falmouth Commodores early but can't hang on in 5-3 loss

The Harwich Mariners (22-14) built an early edge on Friday, but the Falmouth Commodores (22-15) roared back to steal a 5-3 victory at Whitehouse Field.

The Falmouth Commodores took the lead in the seventh inning on a home run by Shaun Chase.

Chase racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Falmouth Commodores. He homered in the seventh inning.

Ronnie Glenn brought the heat against the Falmouth Commodores during his outing. Glenn held the Falmouth Commodores hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Kevin Mooney improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Falmouth Commodores. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Ray Castillo ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
