A.J. Simcox collected three hits, sparking the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (14-14) to a 6-3 victory over the Orleans Firebirds (16-11) on Saturday at Red Wilson Field.

Dimitri Kourtis brought the heat against the Orleans Firebirds during his outing. The Orleans Firebirds managed just one hit off of Kourtis, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Justin Jacome recorded his third win of the year for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He allowed two runs over six innings. Jacome struck out five, walked two and gave up seven hits.

Kolton Mahoney (3-1) took the loss for the Orleans Firebirds. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out eight, and allowed four runs.
