Mark Laird got a hit in each of his three at bats. He singled in the first, second, and seventh innings.
The Hyannis Harbor Hawks' lineup had no answer for Brett Morales. The Hyannis Harbor Hawks managed just two hits off of the the Bourne Braves' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his three innings of work.
Samuel Kmiec got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed three runs over five innings. Kmiec struck out five, walked none and gave up five hits.
Alec Byrd (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in two innings, walked three and struck out none.
