The Brewster Whitecaps (7-10) failed to take advantage of Mikey White's effort at the plate on Sunday, losing 9-7 to the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (6-11) at Red Wilson Field.

White rocked the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox with two home runs. White went 3-4 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored. White homered in the sixth and ninth innings.

Andrew Stevenson did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox, reaching base three times. He singled in the fifth and sixth innings.

Bryan Bonnell recorded his first win of the year for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He allowed three runs over six innings. Bonnell struck out five, walked two and gave up four hits.

Garrett Mundell was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked two and struck out two.
