The Falmouth Commodores (4-3) and the Wareham Gatemen (1-6) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Falmouth Commodores that eventually took advantage of them in a 5-4 win at Spillane Field.

Tate Matheny racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Falmouth Commodores. He singled in the first inning and homered in the third inning.

Chris Chinea racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Wareham Gatemen. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.

Kevin McCanna recorded his second win of the year for the Falmouth Commodores. He allowed three runs over six innings. McCanna struck out four, walked two and gave up eight hits.

Brock Downey was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
