Simon Mathews kept the North Shore Navigators (17-27) off the board during his six innings of work and the Brockton Rox (26-19) beat the North Shore Navigators, 5-0.

Mathews allowed five hits, no walks and struck out two.

Apolinar De La Cruz did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Brockton Rox, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the seventh inning.

Despite the loss, the North Shore Navigators' Matt Rodriguez dominated the Brockton Rox's batters, giving up two runs and striking out six.

Rodriguez couldn't get it done on the rubber for the North Shore Navigators, taking a loss.
