Anthony Capuano went 2-3 as the Torrington Titans (23-18) took home a 6-2 victory over the Pittsfield Suns (22-18) at Wahconah Park on Friday.
He singled in the second inning and doubled in the seventh inning.The Torrington Titans got the win thanks in large part to Connor Landers's dominant, 10-strikeout performance. Landers allowed one earned run on four hits and two walks over five innings.
Justin Finan was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
