Joe Breen went 2-3 and hit a home run, sparking the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (14-22) to a 9-4 victory over the Nashua Silver Knights (18-18) on Thursday at Holman Stadium.

Matthew Ferraiolo pitched lights out for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. The Nashua Silver Knights managed just one hit off of the the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Michael Pierson racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Nashua Silver Knights. He singled in the seventh inning.

Mike Lundin improved to 3-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out four, walked three and surrendered three hits.

Tim Viehoff was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
