An excellent effort by Tim Bickford carried the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (19-16) to a 6-1 win over the Worcester Bravehearts (19-13) on Sunday at Fitton Field.

Bickford rocked the Worcester Bravehearts with two home runs. Bickford went 2-4 in the game with three RBIs and three runs scored. Bickford homered in the fourth and ninth innings.

Matt Quintana racked up six strikeouts in the the Marthas Vineyard Sharks win. Quintana allowed one earned run, three hits and no walks over seven innings.

Kyle Slinger couldn't get it done on the mound for the Worcester Bravehearts, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
