The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (9-20) didn't put up much of a fight on Wednesday, as the Seacoast Mavericks (16-13) cruised to a blowout 12-4 win at The Ball Park.
The Seacoast Mavericks scored four runs in the sixth on the Seacoast Mavericks scored in the sixth on a groundout by Michael Mastroberti, a groundout by Mastroberti, and a two-run home run by Alex Merritt.
Merritt put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Seacoast Mavericks.

Paul McDonough paced the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide at the plate. McDonough went 3-5 and drove in one. He singled in the first, seventh, and ninth innings.
Joey Royer was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked one and struck out two.
The Seacoast Mavericks' Matt Brill, Ryan Gendron, Tyler Fortanascio and Merritt combined for six hits and seven RBIs.
