The Pittsfield Suns (15-11) and the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (9-18) both had scoring chances on Monday, but it was the Pittsfield Suns that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out an 8-7 win at The Ball Park.

Jeff McGarry racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Pittsfield Suns. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the seventh innings.

Paul McDonough racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. He homered in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Nate Spielvogel improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Pittsfield Suns. Spielvogel struck out one, walked one and gave up two hits.

Dakota Edwards (0-2) took the loss for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
