The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (22-26) pounded the Seacoast Mavericks (21-25) on Wednesday 15-6 at Leary Field.

A three-run double by Richard Fecteau helped the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs score three runs in the seventh. The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs had two hits in the inning.

Mattingly Romanin racked up six RBIs on five hits for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the first, second, fourth, and ninth innings.

Evan Mackintosh had an impressive outing against the Seacoast Mavericks' lineup. Mackintosh gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out six during his four innings of work.

Alex Merritt reached base three times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the second inning.

Even though Ben White allowed six runs over five innings he still recorded the victory, his second of the season. White struck out three, walked five and gave up four hits.

Eric Kimber (0-1) took the loss for the Seacoast Mavericks. He allowed six runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out two.
