Tuesday was a great day for Matt Quintana, as Quintana pitched eight shutout innings to carry the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (17-15) to a 5-0 victory over the Worcester Bravehearts at Fitton Field.

Will Toffey was solid at the plate for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. Toffey went 2-3, drove in one and scored three runs. He homered in the fourth inning.

A bright spot for the Worcester Bravehearts (19-10) in the defeat was Aaron Civale, who allowed only three runs while striking out five.

Civale (2-1) took the loss for the Worcester Bravehearts.
