The Pittsfield Suns (13-10) beat the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (8-15) 8-2 on Tuesday thanks to a four-run seventh inning.

The Pittsfield Suns scored in the seventh on an RBI single by Michael Valentin Jr., an RBI single by Dan Cellucci, an RBI single by Tad Martin, a sacrifice fly by Gary Tesch, and a fielder's choice.

Cellucci got on base three times in the game for the Pittsfield Suns. He scored two runs and had one RBI.

The Pittsfield Suns relied on Phil Reese to eat up innings en route to the win. Reese allowed two earned runs, four hits and no walks while striking out two over six innings of work.

Graham McIntire was hot from the plate for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. McIntire went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the seventh inning.

Will Ore ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
