The Brockton Rox (15-8) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 8-5 to the Seacoast Mavericks (12-11) on Sunday.

While the Brockton Rox led until the sixth inning, the Seacoast Mavericks worked their way back and took the lead on a two-run triple by Ryan Gendron.

Aidan OLeary racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Seacoast Mavericks. He singled in the first and sixth innings.

Zach Rhodes pitched lights out for the Seacoast Mavericks. The Brockton Rox managed just one hit off of the the Seacoast Mavericks' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none during his three innings of work.

Apolinar De La Cruz racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Brockton Rox. He tripled in the first innings and singled in the third inning.

Trent Berg (0-1) took the loss for the Brockton Rox. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
