Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (10-6) outscored the Pittsfield Suns (8-8) 11-10.

The two teams combined for 24 hits in the game.

Ryan Kelly reached base three times. He scored four runs and had one RBI. He singled in the third inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Matt Binder pitched lights out for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. Binder held the Pittsfield Suns hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Edgar Montes racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Pittsfield Suns. He singled in the first inning and homered in the eighth inning.

William Montgomerie got his second win for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks despite allowing six runs over six innings. He struck out six, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Perry Kulaga ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
