The Seacoast Mavericks (14-13) had a tough outing on Saturday, as the Nashua Silver Knights (13-13) dominated in a 10-3 win at Leary Field.
A three-run home run by Harry Oringer and a solo home run by Mike Geannelis helped the Nashua Silver Knights score four runs in the sixth. The Nashua Silver Knights had five hits in the inning.
Oringer racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Nashua Silver Knights.
The Nashua Silver Knights relied on Sam Nepiarsky to eat up innings en route to the win. Nepiarsky pitched eight innings and allowed two earned runs, seven hits and no walks while striking out six.
It was a good day at the plate for the Seacoast Mavericks' Ryan Gendron. Gendron went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the fourth and ninth innings.
Joshua Jacques (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked two and struck out six.
