A 10-run explosion in the first inning hoisted the Worcester Bravehearts (16-6) to a 19-1 win over the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (7-14) at Fitton Field on Saturday.

The Worcester Bravehearts scored in the first on an RBI single by Brendan OReilly, a two-run double by Dylan Harris, an RBI double by Nate Pajka, a two-run error, an error, an RBI triple by Ian Strom, an error, and an RBI double by Mark DeYoung.

DeYoung racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Worcester Bravehearts.

The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide couldn't get anything going as long as Logan Fullmer was pitching. Fullmer gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out seven during his five innings of work.

Lincoln Sanborn (2-1) took the loss for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. He allowed 10 runs in two innings, walked one and struck out one.

The Worcester Bravehearts easily handled the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide pitching as seven hitters combined for 16 hits, 13 RBIs and 17 runs scored.
