The Torrington Titans (5-6) and the North Shore Navigators (3-8) each put runners in scoring position on Sunday, but the Torrington Titans capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 2-1 win at Fuessenich Park.

Mike Gibbons kept contact to a minimum, striking out six the North Shore Navigators batters. Gibbons allowed one earned run, six hits and three walks over six innings.

Ryan McAuliffe pitched lights out for the North Shore Navigators. McAuliffe gave up just one hit, allowed two earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his five innings of work.
