Jeff McGarry went 3-3 at the plate as the Pittsfield Suns (3-3) took home a 7-5 victory over the Torrington Titans (1-4) at Wahconah Park on Tuesday.

The Torrington Titans couldn't get anything going as long as Perry Kulaga was pitching. Kulaga held the Torrington Titans hitless over 3 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.

Jack St. Clair had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the fourth inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Kevin Connolly ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
