The Centralia make the most of 5 hits in 3-1 victory over the Green River

Both the Centralia (15-25) and the Green River (9-31) put runners aboard on Monday, but it was the Centralia that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 3-1 win at Wheeler Field.

Jeremy Brockmann went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the Centralia. He singled in the first and fourth innings.

Andrew Sansom was hot from the plate for the Green River. Sansom went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Derek Putman recorded his first win of the year for the Centralia. Putman struck out one, walked none and gave up two hits.

Kevin Sorum couldn't get it done on the hill for the Green River, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
