Jackson Temple knocked in three runs, helping the Douglas (7-12) to a 3-1 victory over the Edmonds (22-4) on Sunday at Whalley Little League Park .
He homered in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.The Douglas relied on Shawn Andersen to eat up innings en route to the win. Andersen pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk while striking out four.
Connor Plaisance went a perfect 2-2 at the dish for the Edmonds. He singled in the first and third innings.
Matt Becker couldn't get it done on the mound for the Edmonds, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
